Euvifol-HP (Urofollitropin for Injection BP)

Euvifol-HP (Urofollitropin for Injection BP) is a fertility medication used in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). Urofollitropin is a purified form of the hormone follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which plays a key role in the development of ovarian follicles in women.

Uses:

1. Ovulation Induction: Euvifol-HP is used to stimulate the ovaries in women who do not ovulate regularly or who have conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It helps to induce the development and maturation of multiple ovarian follicles, increasing the chances of ovulation.

2. Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART): In IVF and other ART procedures, Euvifol-HP is used to stimulate the production of multiple eggs to be retrieved and fertilized in the lab. It enhances the chances of successful fertilization and pregnancy.

3. Hypogonadism: In some cases, it may be used in men with hypogonadism (a condition characterized by low levels of sex hormones) to stimulate spermatogenesis when used in combination with other hormones like human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
