Besxero is a vaccine designed to protect against invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B, a major cause of bacterial meningitis and sepsis. The vaccine targets serogroup B of the meningococcus bacteria, which is not covered by other meningococcal vaccines.
