Moxie PCM is a pediatric analgesic and antipyretic syrup. It contains Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen), which is the gold standard for managing pain and fever in children. Moxie PCM is primarily indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever. It is used to:

Dosage for children is based on weight and age. As a general guide:
3 to 6 Months: 2.5ml every 6 to 8 hours.
6 to 24 Months: 5ml every 6 to 8 hours.
2 to 4 Years: 7.5ml every 6 to 8 hours.
4 to 6 Years: 10ml every 6 to 8 hours.
Note: Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period. Always leave at least 4 to 6 hours between doses.
To ensure the safety and comfort of your child:
Shake Well: Always shake the bottle thoroughly before each use to ensure the medicine is evenly distributed.
Measure: Use the provided measuring cup or oral syringe. Do not use household kitchen spoons, as they are not accurate.
Administration: If your child is fussy, you can administer the syrup slowly into the side of the mouth to prevent choking.
Storage: Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children.
Paracetamol (125mg per 5ml): A trusted active ingredient that works by inhibiting pain signals in the nervous system and acting on the heat-regulating center of the brain to lower fever.
Indicated For: Infants (over 3 months) and young children.
Precautions: Do not use Moxie PCM if your child is taking any other medication that also contains paracetamol, as this can lead to an overdose.

A: For infants under 3 months, you must consult a pediatrician before administering any paracetamol. Dosage for very young babies must be precisely calculated by a professional.

A: No. Moxie PCM is aspirin-free, making it safe for children (aspirin is avoided in children due to the risk of Reye’s Syndrome).
Q: How fast will the fever come down?
